About High Guys Video
Our Story

Hello! My name is Scott Reilly. I was born in Altoona, PA. This is where I grew up. I started my career in TV working as a camera guy for WTAJ News back in 2008. I jumped to Fort Myers, FL and spent a decade covering fast-paced breaking news for the NBC affiliate, WBBH.
In my time down there, I worked my way up from Staff Photographer to the Director of Photojournalism where I led a team of 20 photojournalists. I would take folks who had zero experience holding a camera and mold them into award-winning storytellers. I pride myself on creating an atmosphere of learning. My team and I would huddle up after work and critique each others stories. I'm passionate about always improving my craft and I try to learn something new everyday.
When drones came on the scene a few years ago, I jumped at the chance to use them in my stories. This was the origin for High Guys Video. In summer of 2022, I retired from news to launch my own company. I brought my wife, April and daughter, Rhythm back to Altoona to be near family and be part of a community on the rise.
I'm inspired by the progress I'm seeing, and revitalization of downtown. You can usually catch me at The Clay Cup on Fridays. I am thrilled to show off our beautiful mountains and historic buildings from a bird's-eye-view.
I've won numerous awards for telling stories with my camera. Now, let me tell your story.
